so, i produce a cooking show. and it is often filled with delicious foods and goods. this morning we filmed our 6th episode and looking through the camera lens at all the tasty treats is a beautiful thing. however, once all is said and done, we get to eat the food. ….and then there’s that thing called will power that i lack and i am now suffering from a mild food coma. garlic knots are coming out of my ears. and rosemary parmesan crisps crumbs are covering my shirt.
all in a days work i suppose.
let’s see if the weekend will allow me to retain this satisfied feeling…

of the things i will try to do, yet realize i lack proper time: i will be excavating and then planting a garden for myself.
cream colored asiatic lillies and lavender will line the back. yellow daylillies (and maybe a few spots of light purple allium), and red/pink poppies will line the sides.
the front by the gate will be reserved for hot peppers and the center area will be filled with small pebbles as an area to lay in and relax.
